We are one week away from this spectacular year's closure and the opening of a new one, filled with new opportunities, new projects, new places to go, things to do and time to spend with our beloved family and friends.
 
It is a tradition to many to make a list of goals or achievements to make in the upcoming year. Many people write down different things, from learning new languages, to traveling to different countries, or maybe just getting the courage to do things they fear.

I know you are focused on the end result here. But it is important to stop and celebrate your accomplishments along the way. Maybe you have just eliminated a frustrating bottleneck or managed to switch directions at the right time to fulfill your customer requirements. One of the biggest things we do now that negatively affects our sleep is to stare at our phones before bed. Surveys indicate that the majority of people are staring at their phones very close to going to sleep (within 30 minutes). The blue light from screens is detrimental to sleep because it negatively impacts melatonin production.
