The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center has a lot of events prepared for this time of the year, on October 17th they will be hosting an event called Backyard Base Camp 101 for those who love nature and exploring under the stars. For that same day, they’re hosting an event called Pumpkin Planters which is online, they provide all the supplies you need to create a fall planter in your yard and you can join them to learn how to put it together and ask any questions you might have.
Like all those activities, they’re also offering a lot more for the rest of the month, so you can look for the one that looks more appealing to you and give it a try to give your life a twist during fall! At the same time, the Houston Zoo is also offering you to celebrate fall festivities with Zoo Boo, which has been going on since October 2nd until November 1st, and the people can wear their costumes, and take a spin on the Scary-Go-Round; all this while following the restrictions needed to take care of your health and other’s health.
There’s also the Boo on the Boardwalk, located in the Kemah Boardwalk, and it offers you the best activities for your October weekends! Make sure to attend any of their events on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays and have the most fun you can while getting real spooky, you can find anything: from a haunted house to spooky crafts activities.
