Have fun in the city's outdoors
You may be surprised at how much green space Houston has between its tall buildings and highways.
In the center, you will find the Discovery Green park, which besides having art facilities, has very fun activities including a roller skating rink (open until April 21), kayak rentals and live music. Nearby is Buffalo Bayou Park. Enjoy a walk, bike or boat ride and enjoy the nature and art facilities throughout the park.
Another good option is Levy Park, a park unique for its design that also has activities for the whole family such as yoga classes, zumba, movies for children, and live music. The children's play area has a climbing wall and an area where there are water fountains where children can splash on warm days.
