Engage in some new activities for you this June in Houston
It’s still not recommended to assist to big events where there are a lot of people reunited; however, Houston has some new and innovative activities to allow people to enjoy while they are still social distancing and aware of the corresponding restrictions. A lot of places and activities are now available for people, in order to assist to these; you need to make sure of the rules so you can be prepared.

One of the activities that are offered is that Space Center Houston will be organizing a virtual campout this June 19th, from 6pm to 9pm. This invites you to go to your backyard with your camping gear, and stargaze through their app, paying the amount you are able to pay, as there is no specific price for this and you can even put “0” when registering if you can’t pay anything. So, get your binoculars and telescope ready if you have them, and enjoy this adventure from home!

On another note, the Houston Museum of Natural Science has been opened since May 15th, and is offering an exhibition of their pieces of art so people can assist while following the health security preventions that they specify on their website. If you are an art lover, this is your time to go back to your usual activity of appreciating art while still being socially responsible.
The most interesting thing that has come out of this situation is that drive-in theaters are back since we can’t go to a usual movie theater. Houston offers you the opportunity to visit The Rooftop Cinema Club with all your family without getting out of the car and enjoy the movies on the big screen! You can buy snacks and have an amazing experience.

Restaurants are also now opening their doors and following certain restrictions, so you can look for your favorite and visit it following the social distancing and using your mask, keeping yourself and others healthy and still enjoying your favorite foods.
Houston is proud of following the measures to keep everyone safe and healthy while trying to satisfy its people. Our Uptown Family invites you to enjoy your stay in Houston, and if you want to find a nice place to be in, you can contact us and we will help you.
