Daily life in Houston is progressively going back to normal, following certain restrictions that allow us to work and share, as long as it's possible and it keeps people healthy. As places are currently reopening in Houston, it is possible for you to change your routine, as it may have gotten boring and repetitive during these last weeks, and we will tell which activities you can do to change your day a little bit.
During these times, it's important to keep in mind that you still need to take care of yourself and others. You can go for a quick walk and take some wonderful photos at any park in Houston.
You will likely find little patches of the pretty blue flowers blooming in nearly any Houston park, including the city’s big three: Buffalo Bayou Park, Memorial Park, and Hermann Park; however, it's important to know that you still need to wear a mouth-mask, and still need to keep a social distancing behavior in order to protect yourself and those around you.
On another note, you can also go to the Buffalo Bayou Park early in the morning and set your Yoga mat and do some yoga routines available online, you can go for an easy dynamic yoga or you could try power yoga in this wonderful weather, take a moment of peace and meditation as soon as your day starts; remembering to be preventive: take a hand-sanitizer with you, keep your distance from other people, and wash your hands when you get home.
If you are more into nature you can visit the Waugh Bridge and see bats! You will find the bats hanging tight until they spiral out from the bridge’s crevices on warm nights around sunset. Head to the viewing platform and you may just catch a bat show, which never fails to fascinate nature lovers.
You can also buy food from restaurants, accomplishing the restrictions that have been put. If you are going back to work, remember that you need to take care in order for you and your family to be healthy, during this difficult time. Also, these are just a few of many activities you can enjoy in Houston at the moment.
