Reasons why you should visit the city of Houston

Houston is the fourth city in the United States and a great city in every way. In addition to its large area, Houston is home to Space Center Houston, the largest Medical Center in the world, the largest Rodeo and Cattle Fair on the planet, a Theater District that houses world-class organizations, a prestigious culinary scene, and top-level sports facilities.

In Houston, in addition, you can enjoy a host of attractions and events of varied type throughout the year and you can buy until you falter. The possibilities in Houston are endless, so we invite you to get to know the Space City, named as a top destination in 2015 by Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, and The Boston Globe.

Attractions

Houston has very friendly attractions to all family members, such as the Houston Zoo, which in May 2015 completed Phase 2 of the Gorilla Exhibition with a ramp that now allows seeing more closely the friendly primates and that in September The same year he welcomed Gigi, a beautiful baby giraffe.

Also very suitable for family fun are the water parks, the Downtown Aquarium, the Moody Gardens pyramids, and the Kemah Promenade. And what about the Rodeo and Houston Cattle Fair, a magnanimous event that receives more than two million visits every year during the three weeks of its duration!
Fine Arts

The Houston Theater District covers 17 blocks from the city center and is exceeded in a number of seats only by existing ones in New York City.
In Houston, there are professional companies in the four disciplines of the performing arts: ballet, opera, symphony, and theater. Other venues outside the Theater District, such as Houston's Bilingual Talent and the Miller Outdoor Theater, are also ideal for enjoying good plays and other performing arts.

Shopping

Considered the fashion capital of the American South, Houston houses stores for all tastes and budgets. You can start your shopping excursion at The Galleria, the largest and most famous shopping center in Texas, and continue through Uptown Park, Highland Village, Rice Village, and the outlets.

If you visit us in 2016 we highly recommend the recently renovated River Oaks District, although it is full of exclusive names such as Cartier, Dior, and Chopard, it is a multi-purpose development designed not only for buyers but also for anyone who just wants to go for a walk, eat something and get distracted.

Gastronomy

If you visit us during the month of August you can enjoy an event that allows you to eat at the best restaurants in the city at incredible prices: Houston Restaurant Weeks. This month-long event, in addition to allowing you to eat very well at very good prices, helps contribute to eradicating hunger in the city as part of the funds collected go to the Food Bank of Houston.

In Houston, we have chefs who have been nominated for the coveted James Beard award, such as chef Hugo Ortega, or who have simply won it, such as chef Irma Galván. The reputation of our culinary scene surpasses the limits of Houston and reaches national and international levels.
